David Fogt

David Fogt is the Registrar of the California Contractors State License Board. He has spent 30 years in the construction field, a licensed contractor since 1986. David was appointed the California Contractors State License Board Registrar May 2017, after serving as Chief of Enforcement for 15 years. He has made a priority of collaborating with the construction industry, law enforcement, and other states to combat predatory contractors and the underground economy. David is also a member of the Sacramento Valley Association of Building Officials.

David has served on the NASCLA Board of Directors since 2017 and has been involved with NASCLA during his entire time with the California Contractors State License Board, including speaking at various conferences. David is also a member of the NASCLA Executive Committee.
