Dale Dawson

After working in the trade Dale Dawson began his career with the North Carolina State Board of Examiners of Plumbing, Heating and Fire Sprinkler Contractors in 1992 and has held the positions of Administrative Officer, Senior Administrative Officer, Assistant Executive Director and in October of 2007 was appointed to his current position as Executive Director.  Dale has actively served on the North Carolina Plumbing Apprentice Competition Committee for more than 15 years, served on the National Construction Investigator Association (NCIA), and served on the Town of Wake Forest Board of Adjustments.  Dale and Tina, his wife of over 34 years, have a son, Jarred, who is retired from the United States Air Force and are also the proud grandparents of their granddaughter, Isabel.

Dale has served on the NASCLA Board of Directors since 2010. He currently is a member of the NASCLA Executive Committee, Co-Chair of the Accredited Examination Program Committee, and member of the Publications Task Force.
